About Knowlee EDU
What exactly is Knowlee?
Knowlee EDU is an AI-based educational assistant designed for Polish primary school (grades 4-8). It helps students understand topics, prepare for quizzes and tests, and do homework in a controlled environment.
Which grades is it for?
We currently support primary school students in grades 4-8. A parent sets the child’s grade so the content level is properly adjusted.
Is the app free?
Yes. Knowlee is currently in Beta and is free for individual users.
Which school subjects does Knowlee support?
Knowlee supports all subjects taught in primary school, except: religion, PE, art, and health education.
Learning & sources
Does Knowlee use my textbooks?
No. Knowlee does not scan or quote textbooks. The system is guided by the Polish national core curriculum and safety rules to stay within the school scope for the selected grade.
Will Knowlee do my homework for me?
It does not replace the student. Knowlee works like a tutor: it explains step by step, asks guiding questions, and helps you reach the solution.
It can help outline an essay or fix mistakes, but it won’t create a ready-to-submit assignment “as your own”.
What is “How I like to learn”?
It’s a short profile that helps Knowlee adapt explanations to a student (e.g., more examples, shorter answers, simpler language, or more analogies).
Can AI be wrong (hallucinate)?
Language models can make mistakes. In Knowlee we reduce this with system rules, content filtering, and keeping to the school scope.
When the system isn’t sure, it should say so instead of inventing information.
Special features
What is “Focus”?
A set of short mini-games designed to boost concentration before studying or give a quick reset after a difficult task.
How does the Career Advisor work?
A feature for grades 7-8. The student answers a series of questions about interests and strengths, and Knowlee suggests possible educational paths (e.g., class profiles, school type) and directions.
What is the “Quiz” feature?
It generates quizzes and mock tests. The student chooses a subject and topic, and Knowlee creates questions in Practice or Test mode to check preparation without stress.
For parents: safety & control
Is my child safe online?
Knowlee works like a “walled garden”: no ads, no contact with strangers, and controlled content.
The child talks only to the AI, and the parent can review the history.
Do I have control over what my child does?
Yes. A parent account includes a panel with access to chat history, notes, and quiz results.
This helps you see what your child struggles with.
How does the PIN and parent-child account linking work?
A parent generates a PIN in an invitation. The PIN expires once the invitation is accepted.
If the invitation is cancelled, a new PIN is generated.
Is learning history saved? Who can access it?
Yes. Chat history is stored indefinitely, assigned to subjects, and available to return to (a student can reopen a chat and restore context).
The parent has full access to the history.
Privacy & accounts
Are conversations used to train AI models?
No. We use GPT models via a private API key. User conversations are not used by us to train models.
Where is data processed (EU or outside the EU)?
Knowlee uses GPT models, so model-related processing may take place outside the EU.
How many children can I add to a parent account?
You can add an unlimited number of children to your parent account.
How many parents/guardians can a child have?
A child can have up to 2 parents/guardians in the app.
What happens if a parent deletes their account?
If the parent was the only guardian assigned to the child in the app, deleting the parent account will remove the child’s access to Knowlee.
Can a child delete their account on their own?
No. Deleting a child account requires parent confirmation. Without confirmation, the account will not be deleted.
Technical issues
What devices does Knowlee work on?
Knowlee is a web app. It works on computers, laptops, tablets, and smartphones — you only need a browser and internet access.
I forgot my password — what should I do?
On the login page, click “Forgot password”. We will email a reset link to the address used during registration.
